| Our change over to an NT Server is nearly complete- We just
need to verify all pages, so we can get down to the fun stuff. If you notice a
broken link or have suggestions for changes, please let us know.

| We changed the survey results form to direct all responses
to my Prodigy Mailbox. Apparently AOL's system was modifying the response, and
required me to download the file vs. Prodigy's system which sends it right to
my computer.

| Regarding December 20, 1997 updates- #5 - There has been a
lot of discussion regarding the copyright we placed on the information and the
majority of you have respected our request. We are no longer backlogged at
this time, and all requests will be handled promptly going forward. Thank you
for helping us control the distribution of Dr. Hooshmand's Information. Again,
it's very important that our RSD friends receive the latest updates. |
| Finally, we modified the copy right to show permission must
be received from "Dr. Hooshmand, M.D. AND Eric Phillips AND CMNE" regarding
the disk media. All new distributions of the disk will contain this modified
version of the copyright. |

| 1) If you requested RSD information between November 1,
1997 and November 17, 1997 - please resubmit your request. The information was
inadvertently deleted during a transfer. Your new request will be placed in
the proper priority and answered as soon as possible. |
| 2) If you have questions or comments on RSD or the website, Eric has
requested that you phone him vs. sending an E-mail. Also, if you have received
damaged disks through snail mail, or you are have trouble accessing the
information on the disks, please call Eric at 508-946-9888 between 8AM & 5PM. |
| 3) Some of you have received replies from me regarding disk or access
support. Eric forwards support questions to my e-mail box, and they are
answered within 24 hours. So if you receive a reply from CMNE and you are
still having trouble, please feel free to reply back and I will help you
further. |
| 4) Currently we do not have a MAC version of the RSD disks, nor do we have
a way to view them with WebTV - If you have a MAC system, or WebTV we will be
happy to send you the disks, but you will need to view them on an IBM
compatible system with a web browser installed. Please note that many
individuals access the disks on library, university, hospital or family &
friend computers when theirs is not IBM compatible. |
| 5) We have been receiving a lot of e-mail and calls from people who are
receiving corrupted disks from sources other than Eric. We know that our
distribution is backlogged, but we ask that you do not accept copies from
other sources for several reasons: |
| a) The disks may contain viruses or corrupted files- Our systems are
secure, we do not know the copied systems, and cannot verify the level of
security during the copy process.
|
| b) Some of the disks have had executable programs installed that could
access your system. Zip programs and shareware programs have been installed on
the copied disks- These programs access your system files, and could
compromise your computer. |
| c) The disks do not contain all the RSD information Puzzles & Files -
Several of the copied disks have been missing 40 to 50 percent of the puzzles
and required files. |
| d) You will not be added to our database for future updates and changes.
All requests for RSD information are entered into a database for future
updates. If you receive the disks from other sources, you will not be informed
of updates and changes. |
| e) The information on the disk is copy righted, and owned by Dr. Hooshmand.
Copying the disk is illegal. |
| Please understand that our goal is to make sure you have the latest and
most accurate information on RSD. Periodic updates will add or modify the
disks -By accepting the illegal copies you are accepting the risk that the
information may not be accurate or up to date, and your computer system may be
compromised. |
| To those of you who are sending copies of the RSD disks, we ask that you
please refrain from doing so -We are trying our best to distribute the disks
as quickly as possible, but we want to make sure all the correct information
is on the disks. We understand that you are simply trying to help distribute
the information, but the accuracy of the data is critical- We have received
several copied disks and the data is not correct. If you have suggestions or
comments on how we can improve our services to RSD'ers - Please let us know. |
